e-CAMGUARD is a mould vision protection system by Plassteze. High-resolution non-luminous IR cameras monitor the mould cavity at every cycle. If a foreign object, flash or incompletely ejected part is detected, the system signals the machine to halt before the mould closes — preventing mould damage.

e-CAMGUARD is compatible with most standard injection moulding machines. It can be configured for single and multi-cavity moulds using multiple camera inputs.

e-CAMGUARD uses real-time image analysis to compare the current mould cavity image against a reference image. Any deviation — such as a part not ejected, flash, or foreign matter — triggers an immediate stop signal to the injection moulding machine before mould closing.
